WILDFIRE CLOGGERS

The Wildfire Cloggers was formed in 1998 by, and is Directed by Shirley Lipps.  Shirley started clogging in 1981.  We currently have 26 cloggers on the team, ages 3 thru 22, and several adults.  Wildfire Team practices on Thursdays at Westgate Recreation Center, 455 S. Westgate Ave., Columbus, Ohio  43204.  Wildfire has 4 levels of cloggers on the team, from beginners to intermediate/advanced.  Watch for our newly formed Adult Team in middle May, 2007.

 Shirley also teaches several beginning clog classes on Wednesdays at Westgate Rec. Center, ages 3 thru and including adults.   BEGINNER CLASSES START ON WEDS., Jan. 11, 2012, at Westgate Rec. Last year, we performed at 20 different events, such as:  Ohio State Fair, Bob Evans Farm Festival, Millersport Corn Festival, many local fish frys, and much more.  We clog to a variety of music, pop, country, bluegrass, traditional, show soundtracks, and hip-hop, etc.  Any thing that has a beat, and interests the dancers, and of course the audience.  Check our Show Schedule for 2012 Performances, events, and competitions.
